Socks For Soldiers:
Show love and support to our soldiers overseas by knitting a warm pair of socks.

Knit Swirl Coat of Many Colors KAL

This sweater is done in beautiful colors and fits anybody type. The pattern a
is worked from the outside in, beginning with what seems like an absurd
number of stitches and getting smaller and faster with each round. Each
pattern also has a hexagonal diagram filled with numbers and arrows,
accompanied by an equally daunting-looking numeric chart of the sleeve,
lapel, and arms. Keep breathing, because they’re actually quite clear and
intuitive. Perhaps most unusual is the fact that these jackets do not rely on
chest, arm length, or any other traditional measurements for their sizing.
You simply measure the yoke
(she shows how in the book) and choose from
among the three possible sizes based on that number. This is a KAL (Knit-
along) which means
I am not charging for the class. I will be available for
assistance in making the sweater.
We will meet each week to discuss the
pattern, problems that anyone is having and knit together on this gorgeous
sweater.

We will be ordering Kits from Mountain Colors for the KAL. There are 3
Colorways.
1. Poppy-pinks & Purples (like the cover) 2. Blue Flax- Blues &
Teals 3. Sunflower
